Weekend Snapshot ~ Baby Birds

I still have to sort through all my dance pictures from the girls dance rehearsal. I took 3gb worth of pictures & videos :) I was bummed because I ran out of space before the day was over. We ended up being there from 10am to 10:30 pm. My poor six year old fell asleep slide stage waiting to go for Hairspray. She missed her first song & everything. My 10 year old brought her out to me. I gave her some fruit snacks, pretzels & water. Then I bribed her with a Lil Kinz Yorkie to go back & actually practice her lines. She doesn't have lines till the end of the 2nd act, so she had plenty of time to sit on my lap & rest.

So, my weekend snapshot is of some new baby birds we found outside our tree last night. My kids were so excited. I couldn't get a good picture, I'm hoping to try again later on. The girls got to see the mama feed the babies, so they were thrilled. This will officially be the first thing to go in their Nature Notebooks!

When I got married almost 11 years ago, we didn't have the money to buy a nice engagement ring. We bought a pretty set, but it wasn't what I was really looking for. Now I tend to just wear a plain wedding band. We have always said though, that we will update my set, and get me the ring that I have always wanted. Going to be a long day & updates

Today is our rehearsal day, as of right now I'm looking at 10+ hours. The only reason I'm on the computer is I totally forgot to clear my memory card, & I have a feeling I will be taking tons of pictures! I'm not sure if I will be back on today, we are told it ends around 8ish, ugh!

I have so much coming up here at Mom of 2 Dancers! I still have that contest coming up, so many reviews I can't even mention them all, a bunch of great articles for the Dance Mom and much more.

Grand Theft Auto 4

I used to be an avid video game player, then I had kids. My brother is a huge video game junkie, getting every new system there is. Seriously, he gets them all on release days. PS3, Wii & Xbox360 of course were the most recent additions to his huge collection.

I have to admit, I do like to play some games at times. My newest favorite is Grand Theft Auto 4. Have you seen this game yet? It is said to be the hottest release of 2008, and I have to agree to that. The graphics are unbelievable (especially on his Plasma). Besides the awesome graphics though, who doesn't love the idea behind the game. You get to do all the things you can't do in real life. Now GTA4 does give more freedom, giving you more options to make moral decisions and creative solutions to getting farther. Here is a great review on getting through GTA4 Guilt free.
