Over at the Pumpkin Patch, she is hosting an end of summer party! Click the banner to see everyone participating. Some of the ladies will be doing giveaways, so be sure to check them all out.
Our summer doesn't end for 1 week & 6 days still. The girls start school 2 weeks from today. We honestly didn't do much this summer, but we had a wonderful summer. We mainly stayed home, swam in the pool, rode bikes, went for walks, etc. Normally we spend a lot of time at Metro Beach & Stony Creek beach, but this year I opted out of getting the annual pass because of the high gas prices. We do have a pool though, so I didn't feel too bad. We went to the park a few times, another thing we did less because of gas prices. The kids have a lot of friends around here though, so they had plenty of opportunities to get out of the house. We were able to do our annual zoo trip, so I was excited about that! We still have almost 2 weeks, so I'm hoping it will warm up a bit, so we can still go in the pool a few more times!

Dance recitals, the girls work so hard for this week. We had rehearsals Monday & Tuesday & recital Wednesday & Thursday. Fun after party with pizza & pop late Thursday night. We got home at 1am!!! Summer officially starts for us after dance recitals are over each year :)
