Use Coupon codes to save money online!

This post for

If you shop online, check out this awesome site that gives online coupons to your favorite retailers. One of the great things about this site is, it is updated daily with the latest coupons and product deals. One of my favorite retailers online is Amazon, all I did was typed Amazon into Keep Cash's search and voila pulled up all of Amazon Coupon Codes. I recently have been taking tons of digital photos. I did a search for online processing sites and found out that they have Snapfish Coupons. I found out that I can get 30 free prints plus free shipping with any purchase. I love anytime I can get free prints! If you aren't sure what store you want to shop at, check out the Deals page. Since the site is always being updated, you know you are always seeing the freshest deals. I like to use the deals page to get ideas for Birthday and Christmas presents at great prices. Sometimes you aren't sure what you are looking for and this helps spark an idea. They also have a weekly newsletter that you can subscribe to here, plus they have an RSS feed. With over 1,000 merchants, you are sure to find something great at Keep Cash online coupons.

Harry Potter Arrived!

Cool, amazon actually got my book here today! I am glad I went for the free shipping! The box is SO cool. It says Attention Muggles Do not deliver or open before July 21st, lol. It says book 7 on the side. Very nice extra touch. I can't wait to start reading it. Sucks because I have a busy weekend. Tomorrow we are taking the girls the Air show at the army base behind our house. Will be an all day event. I'm still reading my Stephanie Plum book too, not much more to go though. Gotta run, just was so excited about my book, had to write about it, LOL.

Free Silver Jewelry

I started buying from Silver Jewelry Club a few years ago. This company is wonderful! The main company is Peora, and they started this as a promotional way to get there sterling silver jewelry on the market. They have continued to keep it open though. All you pay is $5.99 shipping which is so worth it for the jewelry you get. I have ordered a ton of charms, earrings, bracelet and even a couple Silver necklaces. When you order a charm, you have the option of adding on the necklace. When I bought mine it was $3, but I believe it has went up since. They offer Sterling Silver jewelry, most pieces have real gemstones in them. I have also seem stainless steel jewelry from time to time usually geared towards men or teens. These make great presents too, even for younger kids & teens. They have made tons of great improvements to the site over the year. Including being able to choose from 4 items at a time, plus you have the option to view what is coming up. You get 15 minutes to order an item, or when it sells out. The jewelry comes within a few weeks in a pretty pouch. Click on the banner above & check out the site. Be careful it is addicting!

I'm not being paid to write this review, I just really like the company & thought I should share with my readers!

My Harry Potter book just a few cities away

Well I cheaped out on Amazon & didn't pay for shipping. I checked & my book is just a few cities away but isn't estimated till the 25th, hmmm. At first I wasn't going to read right away & now of course I am dying to get started, lol. I'm almost finished with Lean Mean Thirteen (Stephanie Plum Novels). I think I might stay up reading it, just in case :) I'm actually supposed to help my dad & hubby do my parents roof tomorrow anyway. It might work out if the book is late.

Ten on Tuesday {just a bit late}

I know it is friday, but i still wanted to play :) I love this weeks theme! I was just talking about Heathers & Dream a little dream a few days ago too. I made the movies clickable to Amazon in case you want to take a peek. I have actually been slowly re-buying all these movies on DVD. I tried making my kids watch Bedknobs & Broomsticks & they were bored out of there mind, lol. My brother & I watched that movie all the time! I had a daybed & we used to play Bedknobs & broomsticks because my knobs would come apart, LOL.

What I love about Pay Per Post

As you probably know, I am a stay at home mom. I quit working in January 2002, about 6 months after my 2nd daughter was born. I made my first online store in 1999, and I joined Ebay sometime around April of 2000. When I quit my job, I looked at online ways of making money to help supplement my husbands income. He is a carpenter, and winters are usually very slow in Michigan. I have done different things in addition to online sales like surveys, reward programs, etc. Remember paid to surf the web, lol? A few months ago I started seeing people mention that they get paid to blog. Since I enjoy blogging as it is, I started looking into it. I have joined a few sites. My blog is hard because it is a bit of a hodge podge of things.

The company I have found to be my favorite is payperpost. I just love the concept. Advertisers pay bloggers to write reviews/opinions. When you are accepted, all you do is check every so often for open opportunities that fit your blog. You get to choose what you write about. I personally love writing and reading reviews from real people, so this is a wonderful opportunity. One thing I have found is you have to check often. Some of the opportunities are snatched up quickly. When you have an opportunity the pay is given up front. Once you write your piece, it is up for review. When it is reviewed it is either accepted, or if it is rejected you are giving time to fix any mistakes. They pay in paypal which is great. It is my favorite payment method because it is quicker, plus you decide what to do with the money. You can keep it in your paypal account, great for paying on ebay auctions :) You can also transfer it to your linked account which is still quicker then waiting on a check and then driving to the bank. Save gas anyway you can right! I am going to use my earnings to pay off some of our credit card debt. One of my goals is to be debt free and the sooner the better. If I don't use the money for CC debt, then it will be money to pay for my daughters dancing. It is getting expensive the older they get and any help is wonderful!

I have actually learned quite a bit since joining payperpost, there are sites I may have never seen or heard of if it wasn't for them. I have also met some wonderful people that also blog. It has been a great experience so far and I can't wait for the earnings to rack up. If you blog and are thinking about earning some money, definitely check out payperpost.

** UPDATE ** Be very careful with the site. I had several of my posts get approved & then right before payment was made, I got rejection letters.

Photo Friday

I forgot to mention I took some pics of the girls yesterday. I mainly wanted to get Cam for her 6th bday, but Aly wanted to join in too :) See more Photo Friday posts here.

Took a bit of a break, Updates

Yesterday I barely had my computer on yesterday. Turned it on to check ebay & a few other things. Today Cam had a check up with her asthma doctor, so I kept the pc off till this afternoon. I already feel behind. My emails are overflowing & my blog reader, oh my! LOL. I had to take a few minutes to check up the updates on BB8 :) I'm about to go organize some things in the house. My oldest dd room is a mess & it is partly my fault. I stored the school supplies in her room & I decided to see what I have. I ended up pulling all kinds of things out to organize better & now her room is trashed, oops. Does anyone else do that? Try to clean or organize & just make it worse? I do that all the time with my kids toys & then the kitchen cabinets. Oh well, off to clean. Hope everyone is enjoying the day!

Collecting ~ When to stop?

I'm trying to pair down my collections, I think. I wanted to get rid of some of my Barbies, but they don't seem to be selling to good right now. I think I am going to stick with just collecting some of the Vogue Ginny Dolls for now. I don't have many which can be a good thing. Growing up I received a Ginny doll & a Ginnette doll. I'm not sure how many I have, but I think it is less then 20. I really want to get rid of some of the clutter that I have been storing. Over the years I have collected Barbies, Dreamsicles and a whole assortment of other dolls & misc things. What do you collect & when do you know enough is enough?

Get Paid to Blog with Smorty

I have learned over the last couple months, that there are opportunities to get paid to blog. Being a stay at home mom, I love this idea. If you have opinions on things, then you can do this. You write your blog anyway, why not get paid for blogging and share your opinion. Smorty is a service connecting advertisers with bloggers. Advertisers can pay bloggers to write opinion posts with links back to the advertisers site. No advertising is involved, you just get paid to write about your opinion. When you first go to the site, you have to register your blog. If Smorty accepts your blog, then you just log in. The website is very easy to navigate. On the right is your opportunities that you can take. One thing I really like is they give you 72 hours to complete the assignment. I have found others, that you have to write up your blog right away and sometimes that is inconvenient. They have a very easy to follow FAQ section. That answers anything you could think to ask. Smorty works by bring bloggers and advertisers together. Advertisers start campaigns, then they deliver them to the right bloggers. Smorty really helps you make money from your blogs. Currently they pay out weekly via paypal. There faq section even tells you how to open a paypal account if you do not have one yet. You can also have multiple blogs in your account. Go get started & get paid to blog. If you are an advertiser you can also sign up. Write up your campaign and Smorty will set you up with bloggers that will write there opinions of your site.

Big Brother 8 & Sci Fi Eureka

Today Aly had Dance competition practice, we ended up staying late talking to the owner & I didn't get home till 8:30. I was all bummed, I thought I missed 1/2 of Big Brother 8. Excited to see it didn't start till 9 & then I remembered Eureka is on, UGH! I hate when I have 2 shows at the same time, especially in the summer when there is barely anything to watch as is. I think I can catch BB8 on Cbs.com, if not there are tons of sites with updates I guess. Oh well, nobody cares about any of this anyway, LOL.

If you are bored, check out my store :)

BlogCatalog Community Organ Donation Awareness Campaign

BlogCatalog is asking bloggers to join them and blog today in the first world wide blogger social campaign, to raise awareness about organ donation and the issues surrounding organ donation. Here are a few articles & websites to check out regarding this. Stop The Black Market! Slate Magazine took a hard look at a growing problem around the world. Organ donation is so great, some poor people are being convinced to sell their organs on the black market. In Pakistan, 40 percent of the people in some villages are turning up with only one kidney. There is only one way to stop it and that is encouraging more people to become donors. See the article! http://slate.com/id/2164177/ Success Story! Alex Pratt of Los Angeles suffered from kidney disease for over 20 years. It was a huge burden on his wife and two children until he received his first transplant in 1993. Unfortunately, it only lasted 9 years, so he had to wait another four years for a second transplant. He would have never gotten a second chance if not for http://www.MatchingDonors.com and a paired donation program at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Donors Needed! In Australia, more than 1,700 people are waiting for organ transplants. In Latin America, more than 50,000. In Europe and the United States, more than 95,000. In China, more than 2 million. In Africa, there isn’t enough organization to really know. Without an organ transplant, these people will die. There are many statistics and links to find a good story at Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organ_donation If you are in the United States, check out these great sites: http://www.OrganDonor.gov http://www.unos.org/ http://matchingdonors.com If you don't have a donor card, look into getting one. I'm not sure how other states do this, but in Michigan it is on the back of our license & it is very easy to do. Also educate your family on Organ donations, and tell them your plans. Regardless if you want to donate or not, it is very important to talk to your family members about your wishes! Learn how to donate in your state ~ http://organdonor.gov/donor/index.htm How do organ donations and transplants work? What profound effect do you think organ donation has on the lives of others (not just those who receive the transplants)? According to the Coalition on Donation, there are three simple steps to becoming a donor: 1.) Make a decision; 2.) Sign a donor card; 3.) Tell your family. Visit www.shareyourlife.org to learn more about the facts and myths associated with organ donation. This is a very personal decision. Take the time to educate yourself regarding how organ donation works.

Does your Child need a Math Tutor?

This is a sponsored post.

My 5th grader has been struggling with math since 2nd grade when her school switched to the Everyday Math Program. I ended up finding Score Learning Centers, and have been looking into them. They have a wonderfully designed website, that is easy to follow. I found that they do have a math tutors program.

"Score Learning centers helps children ages 4 to 14 make significant academic progress in an innovative tutoring environment. "

You can browse by subject or grade. What I really like is they make learning fun for the kids. That is the most important thing I have found when my 5th grader is struggling.

This post brought to you by Score.

Harry Potter 7 ~ Spoilers are out there

I blogged earlier about how I do not want to read the book if Harry dies, so I was going to read spoilers once the book came out & people started reading it. Of course the internet is all a buzz with spoilers already. I haven't actively looked for spoilers, but some of the blogs I read have written about them. I finally came across a link with spoilers. I think that I am excited about the book, seeing some spoilers make me not be able to wait to read it, lol. I just got the newest Stephanie Plum book from the library. I need to read it quick, so I can get ready for HP when it arrives :)

If you haven't ordered yet, Amazon seems to have the best deal for $17.99 with a $5 gc in August.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7)
