Review & Giveaway ~ Lands' End Backpack

Lands' End was recently in contact with me and offered me a great opportunity to test out the brand new Cordura StudyHaul Backpack. The very next day, UPS was knocking on my door first thing in the morning with 2 of the Red StudyHaul backpacks. One to test out and the other for one of my lucky readers!

Cordura® StudyHaul is made for kids who are tough on packs. It's made of Cordura nylon, which resists tears and abrasions better than other standard pack cloth. In fact, it's three times more durable than standard polyester, and two times more durable than standard nylon. The pack is also made for ultra-organizers. Compartments on both sides give them plenty of pockets for all their school supplies and more. Plus, an exterior stash pocket gives them a handy place to store a light jacket, notebook, or book. A big main compartment stores plenty of books. 100% Cordura nylon. 17"Hx13 1/2"Wx6 1/2"D. 1490 cu. in. Spot clean. Imported.
Tough and organized.
  • Side pockets have compartments for all their supplies
  • Stash pocket keeps smaller items handy
  • Wide-opening top is easy to load
  • Cordura® nylon resists tears and abrasions better than standard pack cloth
  • Reflective trim helps make them visible
  • C-shaped padded shoulder straps fit kids better
  • MP3/CD player pouch & cord port for tunes
My daughter couldn't wait to pull it out of the box. As soon as i got it out of the wrapper, she put it on. It is a really good size. My daughter loved it, which kind of surprised me because she is very girly, plus it seemed a bit big to me. I felt It fit a lot better on my almost 11 year old. You can feel the durability of the pack as soon as you pick it up. Even the zippers are heavy duty.

There are several pockets, tons of room for all your school supplies. With all the pockets, it would be hard not to be organized. The inside consists of the one large area for books/folders, etc. Then there are pockets on each side, one of them having the cord port for mp3 player. There is also an extra pocket in the front.

One thing I really like are the straps. They are the C-shaped shoulder straps and they are padded nicely. This is a really great bag! It retails for $39.50 on the Website. I think this bag would work best for middle school or high school students. Unless your elementary school student is very rough with their bags. Lands' End has a full line of backpacks for any need your student could come up with. If you are unsure of your needs, they have a great backpack guide you should check out.

FREE SHIPPING CODE: Good from July 24-30
Code: BACKPACK PIN: 2784

Win it ~ Lands' End was kind enough to send me an extra Red Studyhaul backpack to give to one lucky reader of Mom of 2 Dancers. The contest will run from now to August 3rd at midnight.

Thanks Ginny and Lands End for this great contest! That looks like a great backpack!

My favorite product from Lands End is their classic zipper large tote bag!!! I would love another one in pink with our name monogrammed on it. This also makes a great baby gift filled with books.

We use our classic zip bag for trips in the car, picnics, going to the pool, filled with books for a show and more. It has been well loved! Our bag even came with a matching picnic blanket. We are so stylish for our picnics at the zoo.

Lands Ends is offering great deals this month. In fact, I was thinking about purchasing a few holiday gifts a little early to beat the holiday rush!

It would be so fun to win a new backpack. I will also add it to my website and tell my readers about your contest. Here is a link to your contest:

Isn't Lands End great? Everyone in this family wears Lands End coats - they last and last. Mine is certainly over 5 years old and looks good as new. My husband is hard to fit, and I order all his work clothes there also. A great buy for girls is the jersey knit dresses. My younger daughter has worn one over and over this summer that was also worn by her older sister. It still looks great!

Marne said...

Thanks for the chance to win! I have always loved Land's End!

When my children were little, they lived in lands End overalls. I had several pair that survived the wear and tear enough to be handed down to each of my five children. That is sturdy clothing! Nowadays, I'd like one of their totes, like the "Medium Slouch Grosgrain Zip Canvas Tote Bag" or the "Suede Tote".

Well, the Thermacool lunch boxes would be nice, but I really like the messenger bag myself. I had one of these from Lands' End when I was in school and that thing lasted forever. I think my wife disposed of it when I wasn't looking just because it was old, not because there were any problems with it.

For a completely unrelated (and apparently seasonal item), my daughter really, really liked the sheep slippers (they apparently are only offered for Winter). The slippers looked like a little sheep, but there were 4-5 other animals offered as choices.

I love the Boys' Arctic Squall Parka! It looks like it would be so warm. The best part is that it's on sale for half the price!

I have heard that their all weather mocs are great...I would like to try those. I would also like to find a back pack for myself for travelling. As far as I can see they come highly rated.

Decisions Decisions - I love Land's Ends backs packs because they last for the entire year, but mom really wants a new swim suit. Thanks for the chance.
