WHAT IF EVERYTHING YOU FEARED SUDDENLY BECAME YOUR ONLY HOPE?
Nothing was as it should be.
A dense black fog enveloped the lifeless forest. Beneath Kandide’s feet, the ground was marshy and slick, and her nostrils stung with the acidic smell of rotting death. There was an uncanny sense of quiet—too quiet. Not even the chirping of a woodland bird could be heard. It was as though someone or something had scared every living creature away.
“What . . . what is this place?” the Fée Princess whispered, more to hear herself speak, than expecting anyone to answer. “Why would mother have sent me here?”
Careful not to slip on the slimy ground, Kandide cautiously looked around, trying to establish some sort of bearing—a landmark, something that would tell her where she was. But there were no landmarks, only thick tangled vines hanging from dead tree branches that seemed to reach out and claw at her as she tried to make her way through.
To what? She did not know. To where? That Kandide knew not either. The website is beautiful with games, downloads and more. If you have children from 8 - 12, go check it out.
