Zoom Album ~ Review & Giveaway

I love to scrapbook, however since blogging - I hardly find the time anymore. I love when I come across a product that is like scrapbooking, but super quick & easy to do!

Through the Family Review Network, I was sent a ZoomAlbum to review.
ZoomAlbums are small, portable photo albums with a professional look that you can make at home. The ZoomAlbum is a 3” by 3” mini hardcover photo book kit that holds 12 glossy photos. You can print a professional looking album at home within minutes and all you need is digital photos, a computer and an inkjet printer. (Please note, the Zoom Album will not print properly on HP All In One Printers)

When you get the kit, it comes with software to help you in designing your album, special glossy paper that allows you to print out all your pictures on one sheet of paper, an album cover that can be designed using my own photo and custom design templates with easy to follow instructions. The hardest part is going through all of your family photos to design your brag book. Since I am the Mom of 2 Dancers, I made 2 dance brag books, one for each girl :) Then, it’s as simple as printing your photos on the special paper, folding the paper according to the directions written on it and sticking the photos in the book. Another cool things, ZoomAlbum recently launched a Photobook Coach program which lets stay-at-home moms make additional income from home through ZoomAlbum. Review ~ Little Windows

I've always loved photos. I remember begging my parents for a camera and getting my first yellow Le Clic disk camera in 4th grade. In high school I took photography classes, then when I had my first daughter I started scrapbooking.

Review ~ Big Bang Mini for Nintendo DS

I posted about Big Bang Mini for Nintendo DS back in January. Since then, I have received the game and have had a ton of fun playing it on the Nintendo DS.

When you first start the game, you go through a tutorial. This tutorial helps explain the game. Then you get to start on the real fun. Blowing up the enemies with fireworks. This game gets pretty addictive. There are several levels and in each level, there are 10 sub levels. I found myself saying, Ok just one more level ...

Another great thing about the game is the hand eye coordination you need. You use the stylus to shoot fireworks, but you also have to avoid them falling back down on you by moving your figure. If you aren't careful, you can accidentally move your character while shooting fireworks.

I really enjoyed this game and for under 20 bucks you can't beat the price! My tween played it and she had a lot of fun. She keeps asking to borrow the game from me.

I Don't Want to Miss ~ PSA contest ~ Flu Prevention

Could you imagine, being a teen ... Getting the Flu ... Missing your sweet 16 party, Your Homecoming, Your Prom, The Big Football game?

No teen wants to miss out on all of the fun, especially if they are stuck at home, sick with the flu. I need a new Bathroom Vanity

Our sink broke in our downstairs bathroom. Only the hot water works, the cold knob is broken. Ever try brushing your teeth with only hot water? Not fun! On the good side though, I am conserving more water then ever when I brush my teeth downstairs, lol.

Part of why we are hesitating on fixing the faucet is because we really need to update the entire Bathroom Vanity. Our house is around 24 years old and the bathroom vanity is original (plain, boring, ugly, you get the idea).

This is our half bath, so I have to stick with a single sink vanity. I'm really thinking I want to go with one of the modern bathroom vanities . I love the look of the tempered glass sink with a chrome faucet. Of course, I'd also love to upgrade our upstairs master bathroom with a double sink vanity. We had a double sink bathroom in one of our apartments; it was such a nice feature to have. When you have a majority house of girls, you need nice bathrooms!

Johnson's 50th Anniversary

Musings Mondays

When reading do you read every word? Do you ever skip chapters or skim over parts? (question curtesy of Wendy)

Normally I read every word. I also never skip ahead, sometimes I don't read the entire back cover because it gives to much away.

The only time that I skim in books is when I'm reading a book with a lot of romance scenes. I just don't care much for graphic scenes. I do enjoy some stories that contain them like Eve Duncan series by JD Robb & the series by Laural K Hamilton about the fairy.
