Triscuit Home Farming

Image via Wikipedia I first learned about the Triscuit Home Farming Campaign on Ellen, so I was excited when Mom Central contacted me to help spread the word about it.  I have been interested in farming my own fruits and vegetables for some time now.  I do not have  a green thumb though & struggle with.  I tried tomatoes last year, but they never grew, lol.  We are trying again this year though.

In an attempt to help Americans celebrate the values of simple goodness found on farms and encourage the growing of fresh herbs and vegetables at home no matter where you live, Triscuit has launched the Home Farming Movement in collaboration with the non-profit organization Urban Framing. Together, Triscuit and Urban Farming plan to create 50 community-based home farms across the country in 2010 in order to connect communities through growing food together.

Triscuit is putting a seed card in specially marked packages of Triscuits right now.  Love that, yummy Triscuits + free seed…

Wright on Time Book Series ~ Arizona & Utah

I previously reviewed the first book in a new series ~ Wright in Time Arizona here.  Now the second book in the series is out as well.  My daughter was excited to get the next installment ~ Utah, because she really enjoyed the Arizona book.

The series is about the Wright family.  They are a homeschool family that is traveling the US in their RV.  Each month brings them to a new state with a new educational theme to explore and play with.  They prove that learning can happen all the time, anywhere, and that being with family is fun!

Banquet Thanks a Million

Banquet tv dinners have been around ever since I was little kid.  In my opinion, they have come along way, plus they are priced great.  The country fried chicken is my husbands favorite, he prefers the Banquet brand to any other brand of frozen dinners!
Banquet has been rewarding their customers this winter!  They have been giving away thousands of dollars as a way of saying "Thanks a Million" to their customers. Packages of Banquet frozen meals with the "Thanks a Million" logo each contain a special thank you gift, either one of over 16,000 redeemable cash prizes, worth anywhere from $10 to $100,000, or a Banquet coupon.
How to play?  Just look inside specially-marked packages of Banquet Single Serve Dinners for a winning game message. If your package contains a winning game message inside, then you win the prize indicated in your winning game message.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Banquet and rec…
