Tween Friendship Drama + Limited Too Sales

We have 3 girls on our street + my 2. Aly & one girl are girly girls, while the other 2 are more tomboys. The 3 girls are all younger then Aly, but one of the tomboys is only about 6 months younger even though all 3 of the neighbors are one year under my oldest.

The oldest of the 3, thinks she runs the street. She is into sports, very tough, a bit on the chunky side. Her and her mom bully and threaten everyone on the street to get along with them. They are gossipy, they hold bonfires in the front yard to gossip & get drunk. The dad hangs out in the garage watching everybody. Ok that is a little background.

A few days ago, my oldest left her towel over there. The day before that she left a different towel over there. On the 2nd day, I told her to go get them, the girl told her that her mom had them in wash. I didn't believe it because come on, why would you wash the towels after they were only left for a few minutes. Ok so the following day, she goes to get them &a…

Review & Giveaway ~ Country Bob's All Purpose Steak Sauce

I was given the opportunity to test out Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce recently. We have tried it on chicken, steak, ribs and even french fries. It is excellent on everything we have tried it on and it really is an all purpose sauce! I don't eat meat, but the sauce was a success with my 2 daughters, my husband, my parents and even my picky brother.

How it all started, In 1968 Country Bob perfected the sauce of his dreams. After years of giving the sauce to friends and family he began to sell it in 1977. The reaction was overwhelming just as it is today. Almost everyone who tries Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce becomes a lifelong user. And why not, it is the perfect complement to practically any meal set on your table.

They have since expanded to carry 4 great products. Country Bob's Fam…

Ideal Bite ~ A simple site to help you start living eco-friendly

When helping the planet doesn't require a lot of time or money, who can argue with going green? doesn't expect you to install solar panels on your roof or start growing all of your own food — they're just providing small steps you can follow to reverse your ecological footprint. Like wearing clothes made of organic cotton (it takes 1/3 pound of chemicals to produce the non-organic cotton that makes one T-shirt) or unplugging your electrical devices when they're not turned on (40% of all electricity is used to power home appliances while they're turned off). Not only does Ideal Bite provide the tips, but they give you the payoff as well, so you know your contribution is making a difference (if everyone in the US followed the electricity tip above, the country could shut down 17 power plants). And if you like what you see on the site, most of the products featured are available to buy through links at the bottom of each tip.I've been receiving Idea…

The Banana Splits are BACK!

The Banana Splits are back ladies and gentlemen! Do you remember The Banana Splits from the late 1960's? If you are like me, either not born then or too young to remember, here is what Wikipedia has to say ~

The Banana Splits Adventure Hour, syndicated as The Banana Splits and Friends Show, was an hour-long package television program featuring both live action and animated segments, that ran for 31 episodes on NBC Saturday mornings from September 7, 1968 to September 5, 1970. The series was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions, the Banana Splits characters were designed by Sid and Marty Krofft and the series' sponsor was Kellogg's Cereals.

Sounds good right? I was a huge Hanna-Barbera fan when I was little. Well good news, Starting Sept 2, The Banana Splits will star in brand new comedy shorts and music videos on Cartoon Network. This Fab Four – Fleegle (a dog), Drooper (a lion), Bingo (a gorilla) and Snorky (an elephant) are ready to introduce their unique style of humo…

Review ~ My Bag and Me! Book

I've got the cutest book for kids, to help teach them about reusing bags to help the environment. The book is My Bag and Me! by Karen Farmer, Illustrated by Gary Currant. Sometimes it is hard explaining to kids why it is important to reduce, reuse and recycle. This book helps kids to understand the importance of carrying your own bag while shopping.

My Bag and Me! is a 12 page board book. In the back of the book, a drawer pulls out with a child size reusable Tyvec bag like the one the little boy in the story uses. Both the book and the bag are 100% recyclable.

The book is short and very easy to understand for any age. I like that it comes with the bag, that helps enforce the idea of cutting down on plastic bags. The bag is child sized, great for toddlers & pre-schoolers that insist on having their very own bag when they get something new.

List price is $10.95 US

You can buy My Bag and Me! at Amazon right now for $9.31 with free shipping on orders over $25. You can also fi…
