"Create or Die" Hugh MacLeod Art Piece Deal

Vertical Rectangle
Hugh MacLeod, the man behind, was one of first cartoonists on the blogging scene. For years he gave away his art or used it to help promote his favorite products. These cartoons have become collectibles, selling for as much as $1,000 each. Last year, Hugh decided to reproduce some of these as limited edition fine art-serigraphs. Early that pieces sold for as little as $175.00 are now $600.00 retail.

Hugh recently decided to offer a gift as a thank you to the subscribers on his mailing list: One of his big, $400 images, call "Create or Die", at a steeply discounted price. They sold fast, but I recently became aware that there is a semi-secret discount code available, that can be used to reduce the price of this limited edition print to just $165, which is a discount of about 60%.

So, if you want one of these uber-cool screen prints, just go to the gapingvoid gallery, to the "Create of Die" page and go through the process as if you were going to buy it at full price. Then at check out, put in promo code COD235, and just like that, the price will calculate it at $165, plus shipping and handling.

Also, sign up to his "Crazy, Deranged Fools" newsletter, if you want deals in the future.

Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes

Once my youngest was potty trained, I started using flushable wipes in the bathroom for her to make sure she cleaned herself well enough.  Then after awhile, we stopped using them.  One day, maybe a year later, I was watching Dr. Oz I believe and he made a comment about how we use water to wash our hands, take showers, etc but not when going the bathroom.  Would you use just paper towel after wiping on your hands?  No way, how gross, right??  So, I went back to using them.  Now Cottenelle is taking this topic serious, but in a humorous way.

Cottonelle is giving us reason to rethink our families' and our own bathroom routines with Cottonelle brand Flushable Moist Wipes, designed to leave a fresher, cleaner feeling than dry toilet paper alone. Cottonelle understands that talking about flushable moist wipes with a friend isn't as natural as sharing a favorite TV show or recipe, but their humorous approach has already inspired over half a million people to 'get fresh' since the program launched in September!

To help break the ice on "toilet talk,"Cottenelle launched, which features a special "Funny or Die" video as well as fresh reward offers that encourage people to try the products.

With a Pop-Up® Tub for single-sheet dispensing, Cottonelle Fresh®Flushable Moist Wipes remove what dry toilet paper leaves behind. Cottonelle® brand provides a shower-fresh feeling that leaves you confidently clean every day.
And now, it’s never been easier to get hooked on Cottonelle Fresh®Flushable Moist Wipes, thanks to the Cottonelle EasyReach™ hanger with Command™ brand strips from 3M for damage-free hanging. With Command™ strips’ strong hold, the EasyReach™ hanger stays where you put it.
Get a hanger free with every tub of Cottonelle Fresh®Flushable Moist Wipes for a limited time in specially marked packages.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of the Cottonelle brand and received a sample to facilitate my candid review. In addition, I received a gift certificate to thank me for taking the time to participate.

Yube Cube ~ Organizing Genius! ~ Perfect for Scrapbookers

I was recently invited to try out a new European organizing solution called Yube. The Yube is a 13-inch cubes made exclusively of recyclable and biodegradable materials.  The modules snap together easily and lock rigidly when the back panel is slid into place. Yube is easily assemble into virtually any furniture design.  Consumers can configure, build and decorate a layout to suit their personal taste using Yube’s flexible building-block system to create tables, desks, shelves, room-dividers and any piece the user can devise.

I was sent 1 Yube cube to try out.  It also came with 2 plexiglass shelves & 2 fabric storage bins.  My first thought was office use, but then realized with it being 13 inches, it was perfect for 12 x 12 scrapbook paper.  The customizable shelves, make the perfect system for any scrapbooker or paper crafter that uses the larger size paper like 12 x 12.
When I opened the box, I was impressed with how sturdy the Yube is.  It can definetely hold some weight, very durable.  It was super easy to put together as well.  The four sides just snap together with a slide-in back; steel frame locks and corner clips push into place to make a rigid structure.

What is fun about this system is you can stack them anyway you want.  The possibilities are endless.  They are also easily customizable.  You can purchase patterned doors, but being a crafter ~ Modge Podge and some prettty paper & you are all set.  The sides are super smooth, so would easily be able to decorate the Yube.

I absolutely adore this Organizing System.  I want to do an entire wall in these.  I am just dying over the possibilities.  My scrapbook room, the kids playarea, office and so much more.

Where to buy ~ You can purchase the Yube and accessories right from the Yube website.

I have an amazing coupon code for my readers.  Get the Yube for only $10.70 each + shipping with code  2dance1010
