Buying Discounted Gift Cards to Save Money

I've been buying discount gift cards lately to maximize my savings during the holidays. It is something I'm going to try to keep up on. Some of the discounts are small 1 - 5% but it actually really adds up. It is a great way to give my teens there food money for dance days as well. They tend to hit up a handful of places like McDonalds, Taco Bell, Arby's and Subway. Buying a $10 - 20 gift card saves me averaging 5% off the cost of the fast food! I've even been able to find Little Ceasers gift cards which is a once a week thing at our house at least (can't beat $5 pizza!)

Thought I'd share some of my favorite places to buy them.

My favorite for online shopping is They don't always have the highest discount, but the egift codes are delivered usually within in the hour. I haven't found a fast place yet. I did a test run this weekend from Cardpool, but I'm going on over 12 hours (they state 24 hours).

I've been able to find Amazon gift codes on Raise as well which is really hard to find. They are usually only 1% off, but you can find them increments of only $25 at times. The only other time I've ever really seen Amazon at a discount is $500+ gift codes which I don't tend to use at one time. If you have ever watched ebay for gift cards, Amazon cards usually go over the gift card amount.

You can also go through Topcashback and earn 1 - 5% back on your order or Saving Star to earn 1% back.

Cardpool is my second favorite discount gift card website. They tend to have the best discounts of all the sites around. I have ordered from them several times with no issues at all. Highly recommend them. You can also earn $5 for every friend you refer!

They are also a member of Topcashback with up to 4% cash back.

ABC Gift Cards is another one I use quite a bit. They tend to have more food ones than other sites I have found.
