Book Review: Sleeping Beauty and the Beast

I love fairytales, especially new twists on them. This tale is a twist on Sleeping Beauty and the Beast .

When I first started reading it, I meant to just read a couple paragraphs as a preview to see what the book was about. I was captured instantly as Magnolia (a witch) is  running away with her newborn baby Ovinia from a mob of men. I don't want to give away any spoilers of what happens, you really need to read it yourself!

What I love about this story, it isn't a retelling of either tale. The author has taken elements from each fairy tale and created a new fairy tale. Another intriguing aspect of the story, the beast is female.

Book Synopsis:

Trapped in a cursed sleep, the only experiences Princess Eglantine has are the ones in her dreams. There she meets Prince Henry of Fallund, a neighboring kingdom on the brink of war.

Meanwhile, Prince Henry's brother Duncan discovers a vicious beast imprisoned for murder. Captivated by her, he works to free her from both the prison bars she's locked behind and the ones surrounding her heart and mind. Sleeping Beauty and the Beast reinvents and seamlessly intertwines the classic fairy tales Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast.

If you enjoy fairy tales at all, this is a great read!

My daughter started selling Younique makeup this Christmas. I'm in love with their 3d mascara. I used it after not using mascara for a few days. I noticed a difference, but didn't realize how much. The next day, I used my regular mascara (Physicians Formula Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Mascara, Black Organics, 0.26 Ounce ).

Wow, what a difference. I really noticed the difference in thickness and length. Plus it is all natural which I love and waterproof. We recently went to a dance competition and it started snowing. After the competition, everyone met for dinner. At the end of the night, my daughter comes over and tells me I have mascara all down my face from the falling snow. Thanks for waiting till the end, but the point of my story is hers was all in place.

Start your own makeup business from home using the internet. Only $99 to start

Oh and just a fyi, be careful if not buying from a presenter. There is counterfeit mascara that can damage your eyes. I looked into it quite a bit before allowing my daughter to sell the brand. Wanted to make sure it was worth the investment.
